Please be advised that Route 4 will be closed to through traffic Tuesday November 19, 2019 at the Saint John railway crossing in McAdam. N.B.S.R. will be making repairs to the railway crossing starting at 6:30 a.m. at which time traffic will be detoured through the rail yard. This should be a 1-day event, and the roadway will be reopened as soon as possible.

MCADAM HEART AND HOME CORPORATION
The McAdam Beautification Committee would like to invite all citizens to take part in our community challenge, to decorate and light your homes, businesses and properties for the holiday season. Decorate, and have a chance to win $50 “McAdam Dollars”. McAdam dollars can be spent at any business in McAdam.
All houses with exterior lights will be put in a draw for $50. We will be drawing three lucky winners.
We would like to remind citizens, out of courtesy, to only turn Christmas lights on after Remembrance Day.

Council’s direction on Mini homes in the proposed Rural Plan.
These are the proposed changes to the Rural Plan regarding the placement of Mini Homes in McAdam. Attached are the highlighted changes to the Rural Plan, which are on pages 10, 16, 21, 22, 26, 27 and 44. Please review and if you have any question or comments there will be a public meeting at the Lions Community Center on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
