Notice to Residents – Sewer & Water Invoices

2026 sewer and water invoices are now available for Village of McAdam residents.

You can pick up your invoice at the Village Office, or it will be mailed on April 15 if not collected. If we have your email on file, your invoice may have already been sent—please check your inbox (and junk folder).

💧 Payments can be made in person, by phone, or online.

⚠️ Accounts over 90 days past due must be paid by May 1, 2026 to avoid service disruption and additional fees.

If you’re unable to pay in full, please contact the Village Office to discuss payment arrangements—we’re here to help.

The Village of McAdam is currently seeking an Assistant Municipal Clerk to join our team.

This role plays an important part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the municipality, including coordinating council meetings, maintaining records, and assisting with administrative and legislative processes.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced administrative environment.

Position Details:

• $25 per hour

• Minimum 30 hours per week

• Based in McAdam, New Brunswick

This is a strong opportunity for someone interested in public administration or looking to build experience within the municipal sector while contributing to their local community.

The McAdam Rec Department is offering a 1-Day Babysitting Course for youth looking to gain the skills and confidence to care for children.

✔ Cost: $62

✔ Minimum 15 participants required

✔ Register and pay at the Village Office

This course is a great opportunity to build responsibility, learn safety skills, and prepare for babysitting jobs in the community.

Flatbed Trailer Tarper – Employment Opportunity

Atlantic Pacific Transport is currently seeking a Flatbed Trailer Tarper to work at the CertainTeed warehouse located in McAdam, New Brunswick. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40-hour work week and a consistent weekday schedule.

Position Details

Start Date: Immediate

Wage: Starting at $17.75 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Location: CertainTeed Warehouse, 57 Quality Way, McAdam NB

Scope of Work

The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for covering flatbed trailer loads of wallboard using plastic and tarps to prepare shipments for transport.

Requirements

Applicants should be comfortable working in a team environment and performing physical tasks.

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting

  • Comfortable working at heights using fall arrest equipment (training provided)

  • Ability to work in an indoor warehouse environment that may experience hot or cold temperatures

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Needles and Sharps in Garbage

Do Not Throw Needles or Sharps in the Garbage
Do not put needles or sharps in your garbage or recycling. Garbage containing sharps will not be picked up and can injure the Village crew or the public.
Safe disposal options:
• Use a proper sharps container (available at McAdam Pharmacy and McAdam Health Centre)
• Return filled containers to McAdam Pharmacy or McAdam Health Centre
• Most pharmacies across New Brunswick also accept sharps.
Help keep our community safe—dispose of needles properly!

Warriors Den Upgrades

Exciting things are happening at the Warriors Den 👏

We’re currently making some upgrades to the space. While the improvements are underway, the Warriors Den will not be available for rentals.

Good news — Recreation Department programs will still be running there for now.

We’re looking forward to unveiling the refreshed space soon. Stay tuned!
