“Kick Off to Christmas” Community Challenge

By | News, Uncategorized

The McAdam Beautification Committee would like to invite all citizens to take part in our community challenge, to decorate and light your homes, business’ and properties for the holiday season. Decorate, and have a chance to win $50 “McAdam Dollars”. McAdam dollars can be spent at any business in McAdam.

All houses with exterior lights will be put in a draw for $50. We will be drawing three lucky winners.

People’s Choice Award

On December 8th, the Beautification Committee will be touring the village, and short-listing 10 residences. From Dec 9th – Dec 23rd, citizens will have an opportunity to vote for their favourite decorated home. Ballots will be available at the Village Office. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be commemorated on a plaque, and showcased on the Village of McAdam Facebook page, website, and Lions News.

On this date, we will also be noting all homes with exterior lighting to enter them into the draw above, so please turn on your lights on by 6.00 p.m. to ensure your entry.

Looking forward to your participation,

McAdam Beautification Committee
