CPR Dedication Bench

For nearly a century, the Canadian Pacific Railway, was a major employer within the Village of McAdam. Not only did the railway provide a livelihood for thousands of men and women, but also played a significant role in building the community.

In honour of the CPR workers, the McAdam Beautification Committee would like to erect a CPR Dedication Bench for those with us, and those who have passed. Appropriately, the granite bench will be placed in “Whistle Stop Park”, where the names will be displayed for a lifetime.

The cost to purchase a name is $100. Please include the first and last name, along with the individuals’ railway position/department. Cash or cheques can be received at the McAdam Village Office, at 146 Saunders Rd, E6J-1L2, between 9am to 4pm weekdays. Email transfers can be sent to adonahue@mcadamnb.com
