McADAM RAILWAY STATION

By June 8, 2020August 24th, 2021News, Uncategorized

Due to Covid-19, the McAdam Railway Station will not be open to the public during the months of June and July 2020.  Our decision does not come easy, but is a necessary step to ensure that safety comes first for visitors and friends to our Village.

In accordance with the Department of Health Policies and Procedures, guidelines are being established that will hopefully make it possible to open the McAdam Railway Station at a later date.  Before the end of July, a public announcement will be made to advise the status moving forward with the Station being open or continuing to remain closed during the month of August.

Your co-operation and understanding during this time of uncertainty is very much appreciated.  Like you, we are also struggling with the ‘New Normal”, and our priority as well is to ensure the health and safety of everyone.  When we do re-open for visitors, it will be done in a well-planned manner in accordance with the Province of New Brunswick’s Covid-19 Operational Plan.

Please stay safe and continue to engage with us online through our Facebook site at https://www.facebook.com/McAdamRailwayStation/ and our website at https://www.mcadamstation.ca/.  Updates will be provided as they become available.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
