Tour & Tea with Abigail
July 21 @ 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Sunday, repeating until August 25, 2019
Join us on Sunday afternoons this summer for an experience style event, with an exciting interactive guided tour followed by a generous helping of mouth-watering homemade dessert.
Get a glimpse of the McAdam Railway Station during the “Good Old Days” of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Be captivated and entertained by a live unfolding of the history of the station through the unique point of view of the endearing (and often mischievous!) Abigail Massey. Will Miss Quinn catch up with the antics of clever Abigail? Trouble is bound to find her during your visit! Find out this summer.
This exciting tour culminates with Afternoon Tea, staged in the beautiful and impeccably appointed Dining Room, reserved for only the most elite of guests in its heyday. Sit back and relax as Abigail and her friends serve a scrumptious dessert prepared from scratch, as they were in the bygone days. Don’t miss this uniquely delicious way to experience a glimpse back in time at the Historical McAdam Railway Station.
Perfect for families and groups.
Tour time is approximately 45 minutes, with “tea” to follow.
Cost: Adults $15.00 per person
