Tabatha’s Comfort Quilts
February 11 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Monday, repeating until December 30, 2019
Tabatha’s Quilts was established on 7th March 2013 to provide people in the local community, who are suffering from on-going critical illness, the comfort of a hand-made quilt. The local community includes Harvey, St. Croix, Vanceboro and surrounding areas.
Tabatha’s Quilts is a non-profit group sponsored by the McAdam Lions Club who can accept donations on their behalf. The cheery ladies of the group meet Monday afternoons and evening as well as Tuesday evenings in the “Quilting Room” which is located upstairs in the town office building. They welcome volunteers whether new to the craft or old hands wanting to renew the love of quilting.
Up to March 2019, the ladies have delivered approximately 100 comfort quilts.
