Barbara Jean Anderson

Barbara J. Anderson, formerly of McAdam, NB, peacefully lost her courageous battle with lung cancer on August 27, 2007 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, ON. Barbara was born at Fredericton, NB in 1930, a daughter of the late Laurie and Hazel (Dunphy) White.

She is survived by her children, Eric Coburn (Debbie), Calgary, AB and their children, Christina, Fallon and Hayley, Heather Coburn, Notre-Dame-du-Laus, Quebec, and her daughter, Megan, Wayne Coburn (Michele), McAdam, NB and their sons, Ben and Brodie and Heidi Coburn (Doug), Kitchener, ON; a sister, Virginia Tracy, Oromocto, NB and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her constant feline companion, Susie, will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her first husband, Eugene Coburn, her second husband, Ronald Anderson and three sisters, Marguerite Sewell, Gladys Armstrong and Fraetha Dixon.

There will be no visitation at the request of Barbara, however, friends are welcome to attend a funeral service to be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 155 Saunders Road, McAdam on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers a donation the Fredericton SPCA would be appreciated by the family. Barbara had a great love of animals and was always coming to the aid of a homeless dog or cat. She would be pleased to know that even in death she was still helping them.

Anderson-at his residence Andersonville N.B. July 01, 2004 Clifton Roy Anderson, son of the late Archie C. and Marguerite A. (Biggar) Anderson. Survived by his wife, Annie (Stewart) Anderson, son, Thomas Anderson (Jane) of Grand Prairie, Alberta, foster son, Brian Hartford (Cindy) of St. Stephen, NB, daughters, Christa Balmas (Frank) of Hermon, Maine, Rhonda Sperrey (Shawn) of Hermon, Maine and Andrea Anderson-Mason (Rick) of St. George, NB, grandchildren, Nelda, Caleb and Andrew Anderson, Brian, Christina and Laura Hartford, Ryan Reagon, Rachael Balmas, Brandon and Chandler Sperrey, twin sister, Carmen Wiggins ( Dean) of Presque Isle, Maine and sister, Maxine McIntyre (Donald) of Old Ridge, NB, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Nelda (Carmont) Anderson.

Clifton was in the special forces U.D.T. 21 United States Navy from 1957-1962 and a member of the Local 772 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd. 23 Main St. St. Stephen, NB. Visiting at the funeral home will be Friday July 02, 2004 7-9 PM and Saturday July 03, 2004 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held Sunday July 04, 2004 at 2 PM from the Gateway Cathedral, West Street, St. Stephen, NB with Rev. Albert Price and Rev. John Stewart officiating.

Interment in the Rockland Cemetery McAdam, NB.

For those who wish memorials to the Oak Hill Christian Center ( Chapel) Fund or donors choice would be appreciated by the family.


Eugene A. Anderson

Eugene A. Anderson of McAdam, NB passed away January 2, 2006 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB after a brief struggle with leukemia.
Born in 1934 he was a son of the late Henry and Hazel (Worrell) Anderson.
For a number of years he operated a Ski-Doo shop, service station and furniture store in McAdam. Following this, Eugene was employed for several years as a sales manager at Lawson Motors in St. Stephen.

Eugene is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley P. (Estabrook) Anderson; a daughter, Kathryn Anderson, Fredericton; two sisters, Marguerite Lindsay (Maurice), St. Stephen and Maxine Gavel (Gerald), Woodstock; a chosen son, John Kilbride (Carla), McAdam; chosen grandsons, Brad and Mike Kilbride; several nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companions, Buddy and Chelsea.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Phillips and three brothers, Maurice, Neil and Ronald Anderson.

Resting at St. Paul's United Church, 155 Saunders Road, McAdam with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. from the church with Rev. Ellen Bearisto officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Rockland Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Kilbride, Jessica Jones, Frank Whitters, James McKim, Curtis Dixon and Keith Doherty.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Kilbride, Brad Kilbride, Robert Phillips, Donald Phillips, Milton Currie and Kenneth Storr.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Eugene, the family has suggested the Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

Har vey Wallace Anderson

Anderson- Harvey Wallace Anderson 78, of McAdam, NB. went to be with the lord at the Oromocto Public Hospital, December 1, 2006. He was born in Andersonville, NB. Son of the late Neil and Stella Anderson of Andersonville, NB husband of Maxine (Robinson) Anderson.

Besides his wife Harvey is survived by four sons Rodney (Debbie) of Saint John, NB. Raymond of South Paris Me. Dale (Patty) of Chattanooga, Tenn. And Greg (Judy) of McAdam, NB. One daughter Luanne Anderson of Bangor, Me. Eight grandchildren Daniel. Kristi, Darren, and Stacey of Saint John, NB. Matthew and Bruce of Chattanooga Tenn. Jennifer and Jason of McAdam, NB. Two brothers Samuel of Andersonville, NB. and George (Carol) of Waweig, NB. one sister Annie Hovey of Old Ridge, NB. Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Louie and Vance. One sister Inez.

The Family will receive friends at the S.O.Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd. 23 Main St. St. Stephen, NB. on Saturday December 2, 2006 from 7-9 PM and at the Rockland Dr.United Baptist Church on Sunday December 3, 2006 2-4PM and 7-9PM Funeral service will be held Monday December 4, 2006 at 2 PM from the church.

Maxine Esther Anderson
ANDERSON-On Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Maxine Esther Anderson left this earthly life and heeded the gentle and loving call of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to enter her heavenly home. Born January 12, 1932 in Andersonville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Una (Meredith) Robinson. Maxine was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a faithful member of McAdam Independent Baptist Church.

Predeceased by her husband, Harvey Wallace Anderson on December 1, 2006 and a brother, Glendon Robinson.

Maxine leaves behind five loving and devoted children: one daughter, Luanne Anderson of Bangor, Maine, four sons, Rodney (Debbie) of Saint John, Raymond (Marie) of Rumford, Maine, Dale (Patty) of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Greg (Judy) of McAdam. Her memory will be forever cherished by her eight grandchildren; Daniel, Kristi, Darren and Stacy of Saint John, Matthew and Bruce of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jennifer and Jason of McAdam; three brothers, Kenneth Robinson of Blacks Harbour, Darrell (Muriel) Robinson of Moncton and Donald (Betty) Robinson of Andersonville; several cousins, nieces and nephews..

The family will receive friends at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and at the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church on Friday March 23, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2 PM from the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

 

Ronald Henry Anderson

Ronald H. Anderson passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness at the Oromocto Hospital on July 4, 2003. He was born at McAdam on September 5, 1927, a son of the late Henry and Hazel (Worrell) Anderson. Ronald was a retired CPR engineer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the McAdam Owl's Club. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jean (White) Anderson; two stepdaughters, Heather Coburn, Cochrane, Alberta and Heidi Coburn (Doug Sweet), Guelph, Ontario; two step-sons, Eric Coburn (Debbie), Calgary, Alberta and Wayne Coburn (Michelle), McAdam; two sisters, Marguerite Lindsay (Maurice), McAdam and Maxine Gavel (Gerald), Woodstock; a brother, Eugene Anderson (Shirley), McAdam; several nieces and nephews. He was a much loved Grampa to Ben and Brodie Coburn and four additional step-granddaughters in Alberta. Ronald was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Phillips and two brothers, Maurice and Neil Anderson. Although there will be no visiting hours, family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral service to be held at St. Paul's United Church of Canada, McAdam on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. Rev. Ellen Bearisto officiating. Interment in Rockland Cemetery. Gladys M. Armstrong

Gladys M. Armstrong, wife of the late John F. Armstrong, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 3, 2005. Born on March 7, 1915 in McAdam, NB, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Maude (Purdue) Neale. Gladys is survived by her five children, Lawrence (Doris) Armstrong of Fredericton, Carolyn (Glenn) Scott of Fredericton, Jacquelyn Ingalls of Pennfield, Robert Armstrong of McAdam and Randall Armstrong of Fredericton; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Neale of Calgary and one sister, Audrey (Ken) Seaman of Toronto. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Winnifred Dow of Toronto. Gladys loved bridge, curling and most of all her family. She will be sadly missed by us all. The family will receive visitors at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday evening, November 6 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 1 pm with Canon William MacMullin officiating. A reception will follow at the church hall. Interment will take place at 4:30 pm in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Building Fund in memory of Gladys Armstrong, to the Dr. Everett Chalmer's Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice. Elizabeth Ann Arsenault

The death of Elizabeth Ann Arsenault of McAdam, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, November 26th, 2007. Born in Melbourne ON, she was the daughter of the late John and Manetta (Tanner) Rogers and the wife of the late Kenneth Arsenault.


Survived by her children, Kenneth Arsenault (Cathy) of St. Croix, NB, Ira Arsenault of McAdam, NB and Minerva Porelle (Ola) of St. Stephen, NB; her grandchildren, Jessica and Jaclyn Porelle, Kenneth, Breanne and Brett Arsenault; her great-grandson, Keaghan Porelle; her brothers, John Roger (Doreen) of Glencoe, ON and Joseph Rogers (Sharon) of Glencoe, ON as well as her sister, Sandra Shearer (Carl) of Lionshead, ON.

Predeceased by her parents and husband, Kenneth.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, McAdam on Friday, November 30th, 2007 from 1 … 2:30 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:30 pm. Rev. Ellen Bearisto officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam with Pastor Tim Widden officiating. For those who wish, memorial tributes in Ann’s honor may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Kenneth Amos Arsenault

The death of Kenneth Amos Arsenault of McAdam, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital July 10, 2005. Born in Elmsdale, PEI, he was the son of the late Minerva Coughlin and Eddie DeRoches. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Ann) Arsenault; two sons, Kenneth Edward (Cathy) Arsenault of St. Croix, NB and Ira Arsenault of McAdam, NB; one daughter, Minerva (Ola) Porelle of St. Stephen, NB; and a very much adored five grandchildren, Jessica Porelle, Jaclyn Porelle, Kenneth Arsenault, Breanne Arsenault and Brett Arsenault. Also survived by two sisters, Anita Acorn of Keswick, ON and Norma Blair of McAdam, NB, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Ira Arsenault and a sister Leona Scott. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB on Monday, July 11, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ellen Beairsto will officiate.
